Fixing bad normals orientation

The fix:

Display the normals to check any errors:

  • Viewport Overlays
  • Check Face Orientation Then:
  • tab in edit mode
  • select all (or specific faulty zones)
  • Shift + N: recalculate normals
    • or in the menu: Mesh > Normals > Recalculate Outside > Recalculate Normals
